We’re not foodies, but we do love a good meal. In fact, dining out is probably one of our most-practiced shared hobbies (we’re working on changing that to “exercise,” but the tide hasn’t turned on that yet). - Blue Ribbon Bakery & Cafe (Great brunch, expect a line – accept reservations for parties of 6+)
- Daddy-O (awesome mac n’ cheese and don’t miss the Daddy-O bloody mary)
Raleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill, NC:
- Enoteca Vin Restaurant Wine Bar – $$$$ | *****
- DOS Taquitos Mexican Restaurant – $$$ | ***** (Best Mexican food in Raleigh)
- Second Empire Restaurant & Tavern – $$$$$ | **** (Old reputation, still good – but there are other new places to try. Upstairs is great for a special occasion, intimate meal.)
Providence, RI
- CAV – (We went for dinner, but the lunch menu looked great too) $$$$ | ****

Why don’t you guys seek out a real BBQ joint up there in NYC? And by `real` I mean no Texas-, Memphis-, or Kansas-style. I don’t expect there’s anything like King’s up there, but maybe there’s something semi-authentic? I throw down the gauntlet!!!
