There are things you want to do before you leave a place — this is our open commitment to that goal of actually doing them. Let us know if any strike your fancy and we’ll be sure to include you the plans to realize those goals!

Hi Becky,
We’ll be passing through Singapore on Sunday. We have a day there and would love to see you. So give us a shout if you’re in town.
We leave this coming Wednesday to meet J.R. in Thailand.
Love your blog!
Greetings Conrad and Becky,
Well, it’s 10:30 (east coast time in the US) on Thursday, the night I was supposed to catch up with you in person. But I’m not going to make it to Steve’s and tomorrow morning I fly out. Maybe writing this will make me feel a bit better…..
I’m home in the Triangle again. Not really home, I’m living in a loft above some architect studio in downtown Durham. I fell in love with city life in Toronto. I know Durham (nor anywhere in the Triangle) won’t be the same. But, I’m hoping it keeps me active with some things city like bicycling, walking for food/groceries, and Sunday morning coffee shop/NY Times reading. Plus, I’m happy to have a smaller space. I’ve wasted too much of my life cleaning a house and tending a yard.
I would very much enjoy catching up in person. One of the trips on my “favorites” list is staying at the Sheraton in Queens and riding the 7 Train into Times Square. Just give me an excuse to come to the city by dropping me a line.
I LOVE your blog. Oh and it may be elitist, but I’m on Kevin’s side. Airport clubs are the only way to travel.
Safe and enjoyable travels to you,
Barry

Possible add on’s to your list:
2 NYC classics in 1 – Monday nights at The Carlyle, New Orleans Jazz feat. Woody Allen on clarinet.
Tram over East River to Roosevelt Island
Hi Becky and Conrad,
Congratulations on your new home! How exciting to live in the neighborhood of Harlem with all its history and life stories. This is a wonderful time in your life for exploration and fun.
What an outstanding blog you have! And your list is wonderfully diverse. Jazz, plays, museums, the zoo, skating, biking, opera, tours, and poetry slams…wow! I hope you have the chance to fill your lives with all these things and more.
One question I know Jenny would ask – did you visit the original Winnie the Pooh at the library? Jenny and Russ went to see a Yankees game in September (she’s the fan, not Russ. She convinced him to accompany her since his kidney was going anyway!). They visited the library and asked the librarian where they could find Pooh and was told he was on vacation. Imagine! So she will have to return visit him when he arrives at his new home in one of the branch libraries.
Hope to see you, Becky, while you are playing “Nurse Osmon”.
Love,
Dottie
